Barbie Doll House Plan

Barbie doll house plan – Barbie doll houses are much larger than traditional doll houses so when looking for plans to build one you need to make sure you get the right scale plans. Barbie houses are called fashion houses or play scale houses so when looking at doll house plans make sure they are play scale or fashion house plans. 1/12th scale plans, which are most common, are far too small for Barbie Dolls.



You can build a really nice wooden doll house yourself from a plan that your little girl will love. Wooden Barbie size houses are notoriously hard to come by and building one from scratch yourself is often the best way to get the house you want.

If you do decide to build your house from a plan the wood I would recommend you use is MDF. MDF is easy to work with and doesn’t splinter, so is perfect for children’s toys.
