Ken - Introduced in 1961 as Barbie's boyfriend, Ken was a long time companion of Barbie up until 2004 when they separated.

Barbie dolls have now become collectors items and many dolls are produced for collection purposes only. The most popular dolls can sell for thousands of dollars and are much saught after. Some dolls have even caused much controversy such as the prenant midge doll, Barbie's friend which some parents felt was inappropriate.
