Glencroft Doll House
The Glencroft doll house is a cosy Tudor cottage that represents old England. The design reflects the designers' research into authentic English architecture. With its picket fence and half-timbered exterior, the house is a visual delight; it has silk-screened windows to simulate leaded glass, and a flower box too. The actual house would cost hundreds of thousands and would be snapped up as soon as it went up for sale; luckily you can have the dolls house instead.
Inside the house there are four rooms, giving you enough space for a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. There are also some wonderful extra features like beamed ceilings, a built in bookcase, two window seats and two fireplaces. The staircase is winding up to the first floor and has a panelled finish.
This house is truly wonderful and will make a real focal point in your house. There is lots of added detail and the kit will take you a while to assemble but it is a pleasure to do as a project. This house is suitable for collectors or for older children as a project to do with an adult.
