A doll made of paper is a nice little project to get on with in a spare afternoon or to keep the kids entertained. If you take a look at www.papertoys.com they have several cut out printables you can print directly from your computer. There are also doll houses, there is a model of the White House and Bill Gates house as well as print outs of some famous buildings like Big Ben, the Sydney Opera House and the Chrysler building.

They are free to print so print as many as you like and get sticking.
