Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry shortcake was originally a character on greetings cards. in the 1980's she was turned into a character in a cartoon series. Children loved her and a Strawberry empire was created with dolls, toys and movies.Since the 80's Strawberry has been relaunched twice; in 2002 and again in 2009. Today there are a host of characters, dolls and houses to collect. Children still love watching the new and old movies and adults like to remember the days when they were young. The characters each has their own fruity or dessert-themed name with clothing to match, and they each had a dessert- or fruit-named pet. Like the Strawberry Shortcake doll, all the other characters' dolls had hair scented to match their dessert theme.
